Conical Tank FAQs

A Conical Tank will require a frame due to the base not being flat. The is also the outlet in most cases, so a frame is required in order for this to be off the ground. Most of the tanks within our range are offered with a frame as an optional extra.

The tanks are suitable for food applications, brewery and batch mixing of the product when complete draining of a tank is an advantage. Other uses include (but are not limited to) Chemical Tanks, Processing Tanks, Settlement or Sludge Tanks, Industrial Mixing Tanks, Water Treatment Tanks.

Most of the tanks within our range are made out of a WRAS Approved polyethylene. We are able to offer the conical tanks in a Polypropylene material if required. This is a chemical-resistant material with high impact properties, generally used for aggressive chemicals. A Polypropylene Conical Tank is priced on request so please get in touch for a bespoke quotation.
