Important Information About Drinking Water Use
While these tanks are manufactured from materials suitable for potable (drinking) water storage, overall water quality depends on a range of external factors including source water quality, installation practices, system design, pipework materials, maintenance, cleaning schedules, and environmental conditions.
It is the responsibility of the installer/operator to ensure the complete system meets local drinking water regulations. Where tanks are connected to the mains water supply, additional equipment such as approved backflow prevention devices, air gaps, or byelaw kits may be required to comply with local water authority regulations.
Always consult your plumber, installer, or water authority to confirm the correct setup.
