Yes, provided you choose a potable (drinking water safe) tank. Potable tanks are manufactured from WRAS-approved or food-grade materials and are designed specifically for storing clean drinking water.

The correct size depends on your application. Domestic properties typically require 900–2000 litres, while agricultural and commercial users often require 3000 litres or more. Larger capacity tanks are available for bulk storage.

Yes. Tanks must be installed on a level, solid and load-bearing base such as concrete or compacted hardcore. A stable base ensures safe operation and prevents distortion or stress damage.

High-quality polyethylene tanks are UV stabilised and corrosion-resistant. With proper installation and maintenance, they can last 15–25 years or more.

Manufactured from high-quality, UV stabilised polyethylene, our plastic above ground tanks are corrosion-resistant, low maintenance and built for long service life.
