Each Water Storage Tank comes with a standard outlet, manufactured in a set position on the tank. It might be that this doesn't fit your requirements and if so, we can fit additional outlets (referred to as spin welds). This might be helpful if you require multiple outlets or you need an outlet in a specific position to fit a particular project or application. Made out of plastic material, the spin weld sockets are BSP threaded.

We get a large number of inquiries about whether it is possible to remove the standard metal outlet to avoid metal contamination. Instead of removing it, we are able to leave this outlet 'undrilled' meaning that the metal insert does not come into contact with the contents of the tank. This is particularly useful when using the tanks around saltwater, where there is potential to rust. We are then able to use plastic spin weld to create your outlet in its place.
