Atlantis Double Stage 13600 Litre Side-by-Side Washdown Separator
The Double Stage 13600 Litre Side-by-Side Washdown Separator is a high-capacity underground wastewater treatment system designed for gantry wash systems, HGV and truck wash facilities, quarry wheel washes and other high-flow commercial washdown applications. Featuring a two-stage side-by-side separation process, it provides enhanced removal of silt, sediment, oils and hydrocarbons from contaminated wash water before it enters the foul drainage system.
Manufactured in the UK from high-strength rotationally moulded polyethylene (HDPE), this washdown separator offers exceptional durability while remaining lightweight for easier transportation and installation. Its shallow dig design helps minimise excavation work, making it particularly suitable for sites with restricted installation depths or higher groundwater levels.
With a substantial 13,600-litre capacity and a 100 litres per minute flow rate, this side-by-side separator is designed for large-scale commercial and industrial wash facilities where high volumes of contaminated wash water require reliable treatment. The side-by-side configuration provides an alternative installation layout where site conditions or available space make it the preferred option.
How Does a Double Stage Washdown Separator Work?
Wash water first enters the primary chamber, where heavier materials such as mud, grit and silt naturally settle. The partially treated water then flows into a second chamber, providing additional separation of finer sediments and hydrocarbons before cleaner water exits the system.
This two-stage process improves treatment efficiency, making it particularly suitable for commercial sites where higher volumes of contaminated wash water are generated.

Important Information
Waste collected from vehicle washing and cleaning operations may be classified as contaminated waste. Any accumulated silt, oils and hydrocarbons should be removed and disposed of responsibly by a registered waste carrier at an appropriately licensed waste management facility.

Standard tanks (no customisation) are returnable but subject to a restocking charge and must be returned in A1 condition. Returns may be expensive due to size and weight; please check before ordering.

Failed delivery attempts: After one unsuccessful delivery attempt, items will be returned to the depot, and redelivery charges may apply.

Special or custom tanks are non-returnable. If the wrong product is ordered or the item is no longer required, it cannot be returned, and no refund will be issued.
