If you are planning to store saltwater in a Wydale water tank, it is important to consider the suitability of the outlet fittings. Saltwater can accelerate corrosion in certain metal components. For this reason, we recommend choosing the undrilled option if you intend to store saltwater. This allows you to keep the outlet sealed.

Please note: The tank will still feature the metal threaded outlet, as shown in the accompanying photo. However, the outlet opening will be sealed with a plastic wall, preventing water from passing through. The outlet will not be usable until this plastic seal has been drilled through.

If you require an outlet, a plastic spin-weld fitting may be an alternative option
