Product Description
The Marsh 1,570 Litre Silt Trap collects grit, silt and debris from vehicle wash-down areas before the water reaches an oil or washdown separator. It holds 1,570 litres and takes slow-moving vehicle loads of up to 2.5 tonnes.
Why fit a 1,570 Litre Silt Trap
Without a silt trap, solids wash straight into the separator and soon reduce its capacity. As a result, the separator needs emptying far more often. Fitting this trap first keeps the separator working properly, and the silt can be removed from one place.

Installation
Depending on ground conditions, the tank can be backfilled with granular material or with concrete. However, if the water table rises above the base of the tank at any time of year, it must be set in concrete. The same applies on clay or other ground that does not drain freely. Using the wrong backfill can void the manufacturer’s warranty, so please agree the method with your installer first.

Standard tanks (no customisation) are returnable but subject to a restocking charge and must be returned in A1 condition. Returns may be expensive due to size and weight; please check before ordering.

Failed delivery attempts: After one unsuccessful delivery attempt, items will be returned to the depot, and redelivery charges may apply.

Special or custom tanks are non-returnable. If the wrong product is ordered or the item is no longer required, it cannot be returned, and no refund will be issued.
