250 Litre Classic Slimline Water Butt
The 250 Litre Classic Slimline Water Butt provides a generous amount of rainwater storage while taking up just 250mm of depth, making it ideal for gardens, patios and other areas where space is limited.
Its wide, flat profile allows the tank to sit neatly against a wall or fence, providing significantly more storage than a conventional small water butt without projecting far into the garden. The tank can be installed directly at ground level, raised on a suitable stand or plinth, or wall mounted where the supporting structure and fixings are suitable.
Manufactured in the UK from durable MDPE, the Classic combines a simple contemporary appearance with a practical range of connection points for garden watering and rainwater harvesting applications.
Flexible Installation
The 250 litre slimline water butt has been designed to offer flexibility when planning your rainwater collection system.
Multiple draw-off positions allow the supplied brass tap, a pump connection or other fittings to be positioned to suit the installation. The connection points are supplied undrilled, allowing the required outlets to be opened during installation rather than leaving unused holes in the tank.
Two 4″ access caps provide internal access for fitting backnuts where required for additional connections, such as rainwater diverters and overflows.
Multiple Inlets / Outlets
- 3 × high-level ¾” BSP draw-off points – approximately 300mm from the base and suitable for positioning the supplied brass tap.
- 2 × lower ¾” BSP draw-off points – approximately 150mm from the base and suitable for applications such as a pump connection.
- 1 × sump draw-off point at the base – useful when draining or cleaning the tank.
The draw-off points are not pre-drilled, allowing you to select and open only the connections required for your installation.

Important Installation Information
The tank weighs approximately 272kg when completely full. Any stand, plinth, wall or supporting structure used for installation must therefore be suitable for the weight of the filled tank.
Where wall mounting is required, appropriate fixings should be selected for the construction and condition of the supporting wall.

Standard tanks (no customisation) are returnable but subject to a restocking charge and must be returned in A1 condition. Returns may be expensive due to size and weight; please check before ordering.

Failed delivery attempts: After one unsuccessful delivery attempt, items will be returned to the depot, and redelivery charges may apply.

Special or custom tanks are non-returnable. If the wrong product is ordered or the item is no longer required, it cannot be returned, and no refund will be issued.
