2140 Litre Bunded Diesel Highway Bowser

This Bunded Diesel Highway Bowser is constructed from a polyethylene inner tank to ensure a clean fuel storage solution, secured in a steel outer bund. The 950 litre bunded diesel site tow fuel bowser is fully U.N. certified for 10 YEARS for the storage of fuel. Complete with a fully welded single axle site towable trailer. The A-frame is manufactured from steel and then galvanised as standard.

Technical Specifications:

  • Chassis – The 2140 litre bunded diesel fuel bowser’s trailer chassis is constructed from 100 x 50 RSC. Fully welded complete with front standing plate and ‘A’ frame drawbar. Finished in Hot dip galvanised. Painted trailer chassis available upon request. The trailer is fully E.U certified for the public highway.
  • Axle – Knott-Avonride 3000kg rubber torsion beam fitted with Knott-Avonride 300 x 60 auto reverse brakes operated via cables and rod.
  • Wheels & Tyres – 2 No 235/85 x 16 x 12 ply radials fitted to 5 stud 6½” pcd rims
  • Coupling – 3000kg Knott Avonride posibrake over run auto reverse c/w spring assisted handbrake lever, breakaway cable. 40mm ring eye or 50mm ball.
  • Ancillary Equipment – Our bunded diesel 2140 litre fuel bowser comes with a wide range of ancillary equipment including moulded mudguards, mud flaps, rear support stand, telescopic front jockey wheel, side reflectors, front markers, full road lighting c/w 13 pin plug and 7 pin adapter.
  • Pump – K2 semi rotary hand pump c/w in line ‘Y’ Strainer fitted with 15’ of 1” hose c/w trigger nozzle and stowed on bracket. All contained within lockable bund area.
  • Outer Bund Tank – The fuel bowser’s bund is of a Cylindrical in design and manufactured from 3mm mild steel, with removable top section for tank access. Rear access door fitted with stainless steel hinge and is fully lockable. The fuel bowser’s bund can contain 110% of inner fuel tank contents.
  • Inner Fuel Tank – The fuel bowser’s inner fuel tank is Constructed from a translucent heavy duty Polyethylene 2” filler cap and chain. 2” vent valve, top mounted 1/2” BSP suction and return connections. Ball valve in base of tank to pump. P.R.V. in the top of the tank.

All items (unless otherwise stated on the product page) are delivered to Kerbside. In some instances for the larger items, customer offloading may be required.

Somebody will need to be in to receive and check the goods before signing for them. It is possible to arrange for the goods to be left in a safe place but this is at the risk of the customer and should anything happen to the goods once they have been left, we will be unable to support this.

IMPORTANT – In signing for the goods, you are agreeing that the item packaging is intact. If damage is found after this point, collection or redelivery cost will be down to the customer.

A book-service may be available in some instances. If there are specific timings for your delivery, please add them into the customer notes section on the order.

Missing/Faulty Parts

In the unlikely event that you find there are items missing from your order, please contact us within 14 days of the goods arrival and we will be able to correct this. Note that we may ask for a picture of the goods that have arrived – this will be required by the manufacturer of the goods in order to provide the missing/replacement parts.

If your items have arrived in a sub-standard condition, please email contact@onlinetankstore.co.uk with the following detail;

  • Order Number
  • Photos of the damage or fault
  • Brief explanation of the issues

This will allow us to deal with the matter as swiftly as possible in order to reduce the inconvenience caused.

All standard tanks (i.e. no customisation) are returnable but will be subject to a restocking charge and must be returned in A1 condition. If a delivery has been attempted and failed 3 times, the item will be taken back to the depot and redelivery charges will apply.
