Product Description
3,500 Litre CAT5 AB Air Gap Tank is constructed from the MDPE polyethene which is UV stabilised. This tank is a one-piece, seamless, rotationally moulded tank which guarantees strength, impacts resistance, durability and many years of use. This arrangement of fittings for compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales and the technically identical Scottish Water Byelaws 2004.
Enduramaxx’s 3,500 litre Fluid Category 5 Break Tank is fitted with a Type AB-Air gap weir overflow for complying with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. The weir overflow (Fluid 5) which is non-mechanical backflow prevention for inlets up to 50mm. Many water authorities demand that water storage tanks connected to the mains water supply have suitable measures to protect the mains from contamination. The AB Airgap is designed to prevent the inlet to become submerged and stop the water within the tank contaminating the mains water supply should there be a backflow pressure drop in the mains.
These 3,500 litre break tank is fitted with a cowled screened overflow to prevent the ingress of light into the tank and a stainless steel mesh to prevent the debris getting into the tank. Larger weirs can be specially made for larger inlets. This break tank meets the requirements of WRAS Fluid Category 5 Break Tanks, also known as a Fluid Cat 5 break tank, Fluid Cat 5 tank and Fluid Cat 5 booster set tanks.

Delivery Method
All items (unless otherwise stated on the product page) are delivered to Kerbside. In some instances for the larger items, customer offloading may be required.
Somebody will need to be in to receive and check the goods before signing for them. It is possible to arrange for the goods to be left in a safe place but this is at the risk of the customer and should anything happen to the goods once they have been left, we will be unable to support this.
IMPORTANT – In signing for the goods, you are agreeing that the item packaging is intact. If damage is found after this point, collection or redelivery cost will be down to the customer.
A book-service may be available in some instances. If there are specific timings for your delivery, please add them into the customer notes section on the order.
Missing/Faulty Parts
In the unlikely event that you find there are items missing from your order, please contact us within 14 days of the goods arrival and we will be able to correct this. Note that we may ask for a picture of the goods that have arrived – this will be required by the manufacturer of the goods in order to provide the missing/replacement parts.
If your items have arrived in a sub-standard condition, please email contact@onlinetankstore.co.uk with the following detail;
- Order Number
- Photos of the damage or fault
- Brief explanation of the issues
This will allow us to deal with the matter as swiftly as possible in order to reduce the inconvenience caused.
Delivery Charges
Please ensure the product you order from Online Tank Store Ltd. is the correct size & suitable for your specific use. All standard tanks (i.e. no customisation) are returnable but will be subject to a restocking charge and must be returned in A1 condition. It can be expensive for the customer to return due to the size and weight. Please ensure what you order is what you require. Read our full returns policy here before ordering.
If a delivery has been attempted and failed 3 times, the item will be taken back to the depot and redelivery charges will apply.
Special order or custom tanks are non-returnable therefore if your order is the incorrect product or no longer required unfortunately, it will not be accepted back and no refund will be given.
